If the smell of books makes you giddy, we'll get along just fine.

Hi! I'm the bookworm who has slithered out of her reading nook and onto the web to share my love of reading. Thank you so much for checking out my humble little bookish blog. I'm a mother and wife with a daytime job that sadly does not involve getting paid to read books all day. I once spent three lovely years managing a bookstore when I was younger and yes, I spent most of my paycheck on new books. Can you blame me? You know you'd do the same.

It's no secret that I love books, so let's share a few more tidbits so you can get to know me. I'm a Virginia native, born and raised. I have a degree in Art but work in Finance. Go figure. I love true crime podcasts, lattes and shopping... #IDoItForTheDopamine. I love musicals like SIX and Hamilton. I know all the words to all the songs so don't listen with me if you don't want to hear a middle-aged white woman sing with frightening mediocrity. I love traveling when I have the money, and my favorite destination so far is Scotland (you must go if you haven't!). Even though I'm middle-aged, my brain doesn't seem to have caught up because I feel like I'm 27? What a weird feeling. So I'm often doing and saying things my pre-teen daughter finds 'cringe'.

In terms of what I love to read, I don't have a particular preference. I love everything from romance, fantasy, YA, thriller/mystery to straight-up smut. Hang around if you want my recommendations, but I'll also be sharing all sorts of things I love like Amazon products you don't need but definitely want...or ones you do! I'm constantly redecorating my home so I'll share home decor as well, and sometimes fashion or my travel picks. Anything and everything I feel like sharing here because I'm the boss!
